React Native / React / .net / Styled Components
FEATURES
Both apps are available in Play Store/App Store and have been developed for different type of driver and necessities. As an agency we were given the task to evaluate both native apps from UX & tech point of view and give a recommendation whether they should keep both or use one for both requirements.
DEVELOPMENT
Both apps use similar technology: .net back end and react native front end, all deployed and managed with Azure DevOps. Some of the topics I reviewed were tech version, code quality and reusability, testing strategy (unit, integration, functional, ...), tooling & resources.
Meanwhile my colleague Davy was reviewing the UX and design of both apps, we worked together in joint sessions regularly.
Overall, it was a great chance to see how other large dev teams work, analyse the code and review technologies being used to give the advice possible.
